WINPHIL camps are held in Mainland Cebu, Olango and Bantayan islands in cooperation with local governments. The projects are mainly focused on environmental concerns like sea clean up, mangrove planting and tree planting. But a big part is interaction with the community and children, and the volunteers participate in current local activities like fiesta celebrations or Christmas parties. So, it is always one part voluntary work, and one part culture exchange.
